Want to spice up your salmon game?
We were inspired by Austinite Taylor from One Balanced Life and her delicious Barbecue Salmon Tacos! Riffing on her delicious ingredients - hello barbecue salmon - we turned them into one of the best bowls we’ve had in a while - and who doesn’t love a good bowl? Family tested, very much approved and feeds a family of 4-5.
The ingredients are:
4-5, 6oz salmon filets
2/3 tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic salt
1/3 tsp pepper
1/2 C BBQ sauce
4 C cooked brown rice
2 chopped avocado
1 C cheery tomatoes halved
Cholula hot sauce
Optional: Avocado dressing
The instructions are:
Cut salmon into bite size pieces (with or without skin)
Mix garlic salt, pepper and sea salt and add salmon to coat
Add bbq sauce to salmon/seasoning and mix
Place salmon in air fryer for 10 minutes. Flip half way
To create bowl, spinach or salad blend, rice, salmon, avocado, tomato, and drizzle with Chalula hot sauce and optional avocado dressing.
Mix all together and have yourself a healthy and oh so delicious meal! And, thank you One Balanced Life!
