Fall...Mmmmm. Oh what a season! It's beautiful and delicious, which is why we love this smoothie. We got the original recipe from Ambitious Kitchen (www.ambitiouskitchen.com) but then added a few extras, including the kitchen sink.
Ingredients:
1 cup cubed sweet potato- cooked or uncooked (or sub frozen cubed butternut squash)
1 frozen banana
¾ cup unsweetened almond milk (or more as necessary
½ cup plain greek yogurt
1 tablespoon Nuttzo Butter or Almond Butter
2-3 Dates (for sweetening
1/4 C Gluten-Free Oats (not steel cut oats)
1 Tbsp of Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp Collagen
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon (or more--depending upon your preference)
Pinch of nutmeg (or more, depending upon your preference)
Pinch of ground cloves
Instructions:
Toss it all in a high speed blender and enjoy!
*Add ice if your banana isn't frozen.
