Fitness Background:

I'm a long distance runner who discovered yoga over 10 years ago. I came for the physical benefits of yoga - strength and flexibility - and stayed for the mental and emotional benefits of this practice.
What Led Me to iGnite:
I started iGniting in 2022 based on the recommendation of a friend who doesn't live in Austin, but saw iGnite's Instagram posts and though I'd like it. I was craving more strength workouts in a supportive, empowering environment and I found that (and more) with iGnite. This community is welcoming and inclusive to anyone looking to get their sweat on.

Where I find inspiration:

I'm inspired by Divine Love and how it's expressed in so many different ways throughout the world. I feel particularly inspired while traveling or in the mountains.

Reading, hiking, hanging out with family.

I can stand on my head...working to be able to stand on my hands now!

Spy shows like 24 or The Americans.

My Favorite Thing To Do For Fun:
My husband, Lance, and I have been married for over 20 years but met over 35 years ago as camp counselors. Our teenage sons - Gabe and Beck - are our greatest loves.
Something People May Not Know About Me:
I love talking about kids' books! I run an edtech platform, Bookopolis, that's like "Goodreads for Kids" and I facilitate kids' book clubs. I'm usually reading at least 3 different kid books at any given time.

Coffee and a walk in the mornings!
