Swimming at JCAA

Swimming is a fantastic low impact workout and calorie burning workout that lengthens and strengthens the entire body while relaxing your mind and invigorates your spirit. Whether your a beginner, intermediate or advanced swimmer there is something here for you.
- Beginner: Learn how to move in the water, relax, float, breathe and swim.
- Intermediate: Cardio workouts using kickboards, fins, pull bouy, hand paddles plus stroke instruction.
- Advanced: Rigorous Cardio workout, prepare for a triathlon or challenge yourself to improve all areas of swimming.
Each class ends with a hot tub stretch.
What You Need
Goggles, swimsuit and towel. If you are new to swimming, or just on a trial, you do not need to purchase the required equipment immediately. iGnite will provide flippers, swim, kickboard, and swim bouy. Once committed, purchasing equipment is recommended.
